Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Material Planner for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Desford, Leicestershire. This is an initial 12 month contract with PAYE £15.93/hr or Umbrella £21.81/hr.

The role involves assisting customers with orders, expediting and entering orders, and providing technical information to ensure a smooth customer experience. It requires strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships with key partners globally.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
• Experience in a customer facing role, handling orders and queries.
• Data analysis skills using Excel (lookups and data analysis).

This is an initial 12 month contract position, paying up to £15.93 per hour PAYE or £21.81 per hour Umbrella.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• assisting customers with orders/queries and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base.
• Providing technical information, entering, and expediting orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and efficiency to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience.
• This role is analytical and requires a problem-solving mindset with the drive to serve our customers and exceed expectations. Whilst also building and maintaining strong professional relationships with our key partners globally.

Education/Experience

• Hands on experience in a logistics or supply chain role
• Experience in a customer facing role, dealing with orders/queries
• Data analysis experience using Excel (lookups and data analysis)
• Experience of Power BI, SQL nice to have
