Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for a Material Planner for a leading multinational manufacturing client based in Desford, Leicestershire.

This is an initial 12 month contract position, paying up to £15.93 per hour PAYE or £21.81 per hour Umbrella. The role involves assisting customers with orders, expediting, and delivering an excellent service to ensure timely product receipt.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, dealing with orders/queries.
• Data analysis experience using Excel (lookups and data analysis).
• Experience of Power BI, SQL nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with orders/queries and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base.
• Providing technical information, entering, and expediting orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and efficiency to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience.
• This role is analytical and requires a problem-solving mindset with the drive to serve our customers and exceed expectations; building and maintaining strong professional relationships with our key partners globally.
