A Day in the Life

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain and experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management to drive transformational change, implement growth strategies, streamline patient care pathways, and optimize operations.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Material Management Analyst is responsible for daily materials management within the clinical setting for the IHS Managed Service in West London, Chelsea area (fully onsite).

Responsibilities may include:

  • Become the subject matter expert on the Inventory Management System (IMS), monitoring and following up on product errors, and acting as the local point of contact for related issues, updates, and inquiries.
  • Execute, plan, and monitor ordering, receipt, storage, and consumption processes for the product portfolio of all suppliers in scope, including managing system settings that drive activity.
  • Monitor and implement initiatives to reduce obsolescence risk in the IHS portfolio.
  • Coordinate returns to suppliers through established processes, liaise with IHS backoffice, and manage hospital expectations.
  • Run daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports, create and manage error logs, report issues to suppliers, and provide feedback to hospitals.
  • Implement local process improvements to manage expectations of all parties involved.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in materials management and consumption.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supply chain environment, ideally in a Cath Lab or hospital setting.
  • Project and change management experience.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-layered international organization.
  • Knowledge of healthcare/hospital practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
