Job summary

Kingdom Services Group in Newhaven is recruiting a Material Handler for a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. This hands-on role moves materials safely across production and warehouse areas, loads/unloads vehicles, wraps pallets, and prepares scrap for recycling.

The position involves receiving/despatching materials, stock booking on Syspro, cycle counts, and using pallet trucks, wrapping machines and forklifts. Training is provided; experience 1–2 years is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Must be able to lift and move goods following HSE guidelines.
• Forklift qualification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
• A willingness to learn and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move materials safely across warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload vehicles, wrap pallets, and collect rejects from lines.
• Weigh and prepare scrap for recycling; transfer stock between locations.
• Receive and despatch materials; book stock onto Syspro.
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes; consolidate stock and prepare tools.
• Operate pallet trucks, wrapping machine and forklifts; inspect equipment.
