Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd are recruiting a Material Handler for our client based in Horwich. The role runs Monday to Friday with start times varying between 07:00–15:30 or 07:00–17:00, totaling 38 hours in some weeks.

You will unload shipments, inspect goods for damage, move items to stores, pull materials for production, track stock and assist in cycle counts. Forklift/FLT license required; ability to work alone or in a team.

Qualifications

• Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and put items away in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull materials from inventory based on pick lists or production schedules to supply manufacturing lines.
• Track stock movements, log items locations, and participate in regular cycle counts or audits.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and store in designated locations.
• Supply manufacturing lines by pulling materials from inventory according to production schedules.
• Track stock movements and participate in cycle counts and audits.
• Pack, label and load outgoing orders onto delivery trucks.
• Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
