Job summary

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Material Handler based in Horwich to support warehouse operations and ensure efficient storage and movement of goods.

The role requires licences to operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts, the ability to work Monday to Friday, and to maintain accurate stock records while supporting production lines.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time-keeping and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and store in designated locations.
• Pull materials from inventory to supply manufacturing lines according to production schedules.
• Track stock movements and perform regular cycle counts or audits.
• Pack, label, and load outgoing orders onto delivery trucks.
• Safely operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet trucks and hand trucks.

Job description

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Material Handler for our client based in Horwich.

As a Material Handler your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday
• 07:00- 15:30 Monday- Friday/ 07:00- 17:00 Monday- Thursday 38 hours

The rate of pay as a Material Handler is:

• £14.43p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Material Handler are:

• Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and put items away in designated warehouse locations
• Pull materials from inventory based on pick lists or production schedules to supply manufacturing lines
• Track stock movements, log items locations, and participate in regular cycle counts or audits
• Pack, label, and load outgoing orders onto delivery trucks
• Safely operate warehouse machinery such as Forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks

The ideal candidate for a Material Handler would require:

• Reach FLT License
• Counterbalance FLT License
• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
• Previous experience as a Material Handler (not required)
• Good time keeping skills
