Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting for a Materials Controller to join a leading Systems Integration Consultancy, supporting the efficient management of materials, inventory and tooling to ensure the successful delivery of control panels and electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.

You'll be responsible for receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate records in the ERP system, and issuing materials to production teams while keeping safety and traceability at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or materials control.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with computerised inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong communication to work with production and engineering teams.
• Proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of electrical components or electrical background.
• Experience using Microsoft Nav ERP.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process deliveries with accurate ERP records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Issue materials to production teams with full traceability.
• Liaise with production and engineering to align with project schedules.
• Order and maintain stock of consumables.
• Control the issue of PPE and maintain records.
• Manage calibration for tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe stores environment.
