Job summary

Reevr is seeking a proactive Material Controller to join our manufacturing team in Woking. You will manage material availability, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain stock accuracy in the ERP/MRP system to support production.

The role requires experience in material planning or inventory control within manufacturing, with strong organisation, communication, and data accuracy skills. We offer training and a collaborative team in a growing business.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Material Controller, Materials Planner, Supply Chain, Inventory Control, or similar manufacturing role.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve material shortages quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier deliveries and monitor lead times to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and regularly communicate to resolve shortages and improve performance.
  • Expedite urgent materials to support production and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with internal departments to maintain material availability.
  • Maintain accurate material information within the ERP/MRP system.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, stock issues and ERP transaction queries.
  • Monitor inventory levels, safety stock and material movements between company sites.
  • Support month-end processes, including Goods Received Not Invoiced reconciliation.
  • Track supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with audits, reporting and provide support across the wider Supply Chain team when required.

Material Controller

Opportunity: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Woking

We are looking for a proactive and organised Material Controller to join our clients fast paced Manufacturing business. In this role, you'll ensure materials are available to support production, work closely with suppliers to manage deliveries and help maintain accurate stock levels across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
