Job summary

Luton Town Football Club is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Matchday Stewards to join our team for the 2026/27 season. This casual role supports safety, security and the enjoyment of spectators at matchdays across the stadium.

You will provide excellent customer service, conduct ticket and bag checks, guide visitors, monitor crowds, and respond to incidents. An SIA Licence is required; the role demands flexibility to work evenings and weekends and a commitment to 75% of fixtures.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise communication.
• Ability to follow instructions to meet steward standards.
• SIA Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist spectators’ queries.
• Monitor crowds and ensure public safety throughout the venue.
• Conduct ticket and bag checks at entry points.
• Guide visitors to their seats and direct them around the stadium.
• Respond to incidents quickly and professionally, escalating where necessary.
• Uphold stadium ground regulations at all times.
• Attend pre-event briefing and training sessions.
• Monitor the crowd for overcrowding or distress.
• Keep exits and evacuation routes clear at all times.
• Report hazards or suspect packages to a supervisor.
