Job summary

Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club is seeking a reliable matchday worker to support operations at the American Express Stadium. You will help prepare facilities, assist with stadium cleaning, and ensure public and staff areas meet Premier League standards on home game days.

Ideal candidates will work well in a team, follow safety guidelines, and help implement weather-related safety measures. This role is UK-based, requires right to work in the UK, and offers seasonal hours for the 26/27

Qualifications

• Experience working as part of a team and meeting deadlines.
• COSHH understanding is desirable.
• Experience in large facilities or cleaning tasks is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare stadium equipment, facilities and public areas to high standards.
• Carry out cleaning and deep-cleaning across public and staff spaces.
• Perform weather-related safety measures to keep areas secure for supporters.
• Report stock shortages and collaborate with teams to ensure a great matchday experience.

This role plays a key part in creating a safe and world-class environment for thousands of supporters on matchdays.

Your matchday duties will include:

• Setting up and preparing stadium equipment, facilities, and public areas to elite Premier League standards.
• Carrying out essential cleaning, deep-cleaning, and event preparation across public and staff spaces.
• Executing weather-related safety measures to ensure all stadium areas remain secure and safe for supporters.
• Identifying facility defects, reporting stock shortages, and collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional matchday experience.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working as part of a team, a proven track record of delivering high standards of work within a specific deadline and ideally an understanding of COSHH. If you have experience of working in a large facility or carrying out cleaning tasks, this would be great, however this is not essential.
