Job summary

Crystal Palace Football Club is seeking passionate, well-presented individuals to join our security matchday team at Selhurst Park. You will help ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, providing a welcoming experience and supporting fans on matchdays.

You must be over 18, with a focus on accuracy and good manners. Previous stadium or large-event experience is desirable, and NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety is preferred.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 (Essential).
• NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety is desirable.
• Friendly and happy to help all clients with patience and good manners.
• Be mature and able to handle situations calmly.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be polite and courteous.
• Strong focus on accuracy and diligence in every aspect.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of body search regulations and processes.
• Experience at a football stadium or similar spectator events is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commit to and attend all Premier League fixtures and FA Cup games as required.
• Be responsible for the safe access and comfort of spectators visiting the stadium.
• Identify and report any incident, occurrence or hazard among spectators and report to a supervisor.
• Uphold CPFC standards as the first line of contact with guests and provide a welcoming environment.
• Maintain an immaculate personal presentation with a polished professional appearance.
• Other duties as required by the line manager.
• Uphold and promote the Club’s Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies.
