Sodexo Live! is hiring Casual Matchday Front of House and Kiosk Staff for Newcastle United Football Club. This role involves welcoming supporters, serving food and beverages, and handling tills during matchdays and events at St. James’ Park.

Ideal candidates have customer service, hospitality or catering experience, a confident, friendly manner, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced stadium environment. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or catering is desirable.
• Friendly, approachable and confident when interacting with customers.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced matchday environment.
• Reliable and punctual team player who can work independently.
• Flexible to work matchdays, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Professional, smart appearance and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly, welcoming and professional service to supporters, guests and visitors throughout matchday.
• Serve food, snacks and beverages efficiently, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Operate tills and payment systems, handling transactions accurately.
• Prepare, assemble and serve food in line with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain clean, tidy and well-presented kiosk and front-of-house areas throughout service.
• Replenish food, drinks, packaging and other stock, ensuring availability during busy service periods.
• Assist with the set-up and preparation of kiosks and front of house areas ahead of matchday service.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and licensing requirements where applicable.
• Manage customer queries and resolve any issues in a friendly and professional manner, escalating where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient matchday operation.
• Support queue management and help maintain a safe, organised and positive customer environment.
• Assist with clearing down, cleaning and closing duties following service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the stadium and club positively at all times.
• Be flexible in supporting different areas of the operation as required, adapting to the changing demands of matchday.
