Job summary

Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust in Coventry is seeking a Finance Officer to support the MAT-wide operational finance across all Trust sites. The role focuses on compliance, efficiency, and accurate financial administration for a busy educational environment.

Hours are 22 per week, term-time plus 52 weeks, with flexibility for the right candidate. The successful applicant will have GCSEs with strong Maths/English, experience with Google apps, and an ability to work under pressure while

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE, with good grades in Maths and English (C or better/or equivalent)
• Experience of using Google applications
• Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements
• Experience of working with the general public
• Hands on experience of financial administration
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload
• Ability to work independently
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality operational finance across the Trust to ensure compliance and efficiency
• The role is MAT-wide and postholders may be required to work across Trust sites to support operational requirements
• Assist in managing financial administration and ensure accurate records and reporting.
