Job summary

Dedicate Recruitment Ltd is assisting a growing MAT in the Leicester area by recruiting a Trust Finance Officer on an initial 3-month contract.

The successful candidate will oversee financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and support the wider finance team with accurate and timely financial information. Hybrid working, 37 hours per week, with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT Level 2.
• Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
• Experience in schools/MAT or charitable organisations preferred.
• Strong understanding of trust accounting procedures and reconciliation.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in PS Financials and Microsoft Office.

Dedicate Recruitment is assisting this growing MAT in the Leicester area, seeking a Trust Finance Officer for an initial 3-month period whilst they recruit for the permanent post.

The successful Trust Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the wider finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial information.

The Trust Finance Officer will bring:

• Minimum AAT Level 2
• Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably within schools/MAT or charitable organisation
• Strong understanding of trust accounting procedures and financial reconciliation
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in relevant finance software such as PS Financials and Microsoft Office applications

This is a hybrid working, full time role, 37 hours per week. You will be joining a collaborative and friendly team. Free parking when working on site.
