First Group is seeking a skilled Master Technician to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults across our fleet. You will investigate faults, advise engineering teams and ensure vehicles run to the highest standard in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a pivotal role in keeping London moving safely, with emphasis on diagnostics and reliability. A strong focus on safety, records, and cross-functional collaboration will help drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Strong understanding of Euro 6 emissions systems (including retrofit).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Proficient IT skills and familiarity with engineering record systems.

Responsabilités

• Act as the first point of contact for in-depth fault-finding and repairs on specific vehicle types.
• Carry out diagnostic tests on a wide range of company vehicles and equipment.
• Provide expert technical advice to Engineering Managers and the Technical Team.
• Compile detailed reports on performance and component failures.
• Maintain accurate records and champion the Maximo EAM system.
