Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is assisting a main dealer in Speke to recruit a Master Technician for a busy workshop. The role offers £45,000 basic plus bonus and overtime, with excellent company benefits.

You will carry out in-depth diagnostics, service and repair of vehicles to high standards, train and coach team members on new products, and liaise with customers on technical issues. A full UK driving licence and an automotive NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds automotive qualification.
• Strong background in diagnostic repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Methodical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to quickly grasp new vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out in-depth diagnostics, service and repair of vehicles to the highest standards, including diagnosis of electrical and electronic problems.
• Train, coach and develop workshop and service team members on any new products or technologies to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assisting with the distribution of jobs to Technicians.
• Liaising with customers on technical/product issues.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.

Required Master Technician skills and experience:

• The ability to quickly grasp new vehicle technologies
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
