Job summary

Autoskills-Uk in Battersea is seeking a Master Technician with senior/ master experience to join a busy workshop. You will diagnose complex faults, carry out advanced repairs, and mentor colleagues.

The role offers a strong benefits package, clear career progression, and an attractive OTE of £55,500, with a basic salary of £46,000. Full-time, permanent position with weekday hours and Saturday rota.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous Senior Technician or Master Technician experience.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex vehicle faults.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge.
• Experience in franchised dealerships or large independents.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Support Workshop and Service teams with complex technical issues.
• Diagnose highly complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Carry out complex repairs and advanced diagnostic work.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other Technicians.
• Help maintain high workshop efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and to manufacturer standards.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm | Saturday on Rota

THE ROLE

As a Master Technician, you'll provide a high level of technical expertise within the workshop, supporting both the Service team and fellow Technicians.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Workshop and Service teams with complex technical issues
• Diagnosing highly complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Carrying out complex repairs and advanced diagnostic work
• Providing technical support and guidance to other Technicians when required
• Helping the workshop maintain high levels of efficiency and quality
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required manufacturer standards
• Maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Sharing technical knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced technician who can demonstrate:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician or Master Technician
• Strong experience diagnosing complex vehicle faults
• Excellent mechanical, electrical and diagnostic knowledge
• Experience within a franchised dealership or large independent workshop
• A flexible approach to work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Full UK Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
