HAD-FAB LTD is seeking a Master Production Planner to lead all production scheduling activities within a dynamic operations environment. The role offers significant influence over planning practices while working collaboratively across various teams to enhance project delivery, critical for achieving future infrastructure goals. This full-time position requires deep expertise in production planning, a proactive approach to resource management, and exceptional communication skills.
We are seeking a Master Production Planner to join our Operations team. This critical role will be responsible for planning and scheduling of all Operations production activities. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you’ll oversee both strategic and tactical scheduling, aligning production needs with available resources, supporting business growth and customer demands.

Portfolio Planning: Develop and maintain master production schedules, aligning project milestones with labour, materials, and equipment capacity.
Capacity Management: Forecast resource requirements for current and future workloads, addressing over/under capacity issues proactively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Commercial, and Business Development teams to ensure production plans reflect business and client demands.
Risk & Contingency Planning: Identify and mitigate scheduling risks, including delays, quality issues, or supply chain disruption.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and report on KPIs to track schedule performance, capacity, and output, contributing to continuous improvement.
System & Process Development: Drive planning best practices and system improvements, promoting the use of Microsoft Project and supporting internal training.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years’ experience in production planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment (ideally steel fabrication or project-led production).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and scheduling tools.
Proven ability to plan against business milestones and manage high-value production portfolios.
Proficient in Microsoft Project; ERP experience essential. Familiarity with Primavera P6 advantageous.
