Job summary

Elmleigh Electrical Systems Limited is seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder in Hinckley, England. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels to high standards, interpreting schematics, and assembling components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with panel building, and a passion for precision. An NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services and relevant apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to work with hand and power tools and understand complex mechanical layouts.
• Proven ability to read and accurately interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail with the ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Basic understanding of PLCs and automation systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control panels from schematic diagrams.
• Interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts accurately.
• Assemble components including PLCs, relays, and contactors.
• Route and terminate cables and wires neatly.
• Label all components, cables, and wires correctly.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers to complete projects.
• Maintain a clean, organised work environment.
