JM Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join a busy vehicle repair centre in Dartford. This full-time role offers competitive pay based on experience and can be permanent or temp-to-perm.

The successful candidate will repair and restore damaged vehicle bodywork, work on a range of fleet vehicles, and follow industry standards to ensure high-quality results. You will contribute to a safe, efficient workshop and meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater or body repair technician.
• Experience repairing a range of vehicle makes/models.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques.
• Experience with panel replacement, straightening and welding.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and identify repair methods.
• Carry out panel repairs, replacements and structural repairs.
• Remove damaged panels and fit new/repaired panels.
• Straighten and reshape vehicle bodywork.
• Welding and other body repair techniques.
• Prepare vehicles for painting and finishing.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and safety protocols.
• Meet repair timescales and productivity targets.
• Use tools correctly and keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Work within a team to return vehicles to service promptly.
