Job summary

ARC Recruits is recruiting for an experienced Panel Beater to join a brand-new accident repair centre. You will repair accident-damaged vehicles to high standards within a modern body shop environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience in automotive body repair, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. A full UK driving licence is advantageous; ATA/NVQ qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Beater within Accident Repair Centre / Body Shop.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques.
• Experience repairing structural and non-structural damage.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
• Full UK driving licence advantageous.
• ATA accreditation, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Carry out structural and non-structural body repairs.
• Remove and replace damaged panels.
• Straighten and repair vehicle bodywork.
• Weld and fabricate where required.
• Repair vehicles per manufacturer specifications.
• Work alongside MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and other staff.
• Ensure repairs completed within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and attention to detail.
• Follow all health & safety procedures.
