Job Opportunity: Demand Planner at Worcester Bosch

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Planning team as a Demand Planner within the Service Department of Worcester Bosch.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and review scheduling system settings to maximize engineer productivity and meet customer service targets.
2. Use various data inputs to create and maintain demand forecasts.
3. Monitor customer trends and research demand drivers.
4. Simulate and present customer fulfillment scenarios based on field capacities.
5. Prepare and present weekly reports, including dashboards, heat maps, and charts.
6. Implement automation to improve efficiency across Planning and Service areas.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Higher education qualification, preferably in Maths.

Preferred:

• Experience working with or managing demand.
• Proficiency with automation and data manipulation software (e.g., Alteryx, Knime).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Creative and inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to translate complex data into operational actions.
• Good communication skills for leading meetings and justifying decisions with data.

Additional Information:

Application Deadline: 23rd May

Expected Start Date: 1st June (flexible)

Working Hours:

• 39 hours/week, Mon to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.
• 80% in-office for first 6 months, then flexible with 40% office work.
