Join to apply for the Master Data Manager role at Thames Water.

As a Master Data Manager, you will report to the Head of Data Management and be responsible for leading Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, implementing data governance policies, and ensuring a single source of truth using the Profisee MDM tool. Your role emphasizes the importance of having a trusted, definitive data source for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior expert in MDM processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement MDM strategy and framework.
• Lead the implementation of business rules, oversee data governance, and manage MDM data mapping and ingestion.
• Ensure MDM solutions align with business objectives, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Work with IT and business teams to understand and meet their data needs.
• Oversee MDM services on Azure Profisee for performance and reliability.
• Validate data processes during User Acceptance Testing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies into the data platform.

Requirements

• Understanding of Data Governance and MDM.
• Proficiency in Azure Profisee.
• Experience with data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, and privacy.
• Knowledge of data integration tools like Azure Data Factory.
• Ability to apply governance standards and policies for data stewardship.
• Understanding of data lifecycle management and aligning data initiatives with business goals.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview.
