Waters Corporation in Wilmslow is seeking a Systems Test Engineer for Mass Spectrometry within a LEAN-focused New Product Operations group. You will contribute to timely delivery of instruments, perform performance tests, and help drive improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Enthusiastic team member seeking a rewarding career in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve in an engineering or scientific environment.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that ensures timely delivery of Mass Spectrometry systems to meet customer requirements and quarterly targets.
• Complete performance test specifications on a range of Mass Spectrometers.
• Identify failures of performance specifications, diagnose and resolve underlying causes.
• Participate in development and continuous improvement of workflows and processes in the department.
• Work on prototype instruments through pilot production to mainstream manufacture.
