Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Technical Design & Estimating Coordinator for Heavyside Building Products in Derbyshire. You will support the sales team and production planner to convert customer enquiries into accurate quotations for masonry products.

You will act as the technical bridge between customers, sales and production, providing drawings (SketchUp) and guidance on brick specials, with duties ranging from take-offs to data management in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction information.
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability.
• Experience preparing quotations and pricing calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, schedules and project information to prepare quotations.
• Interpret complex enquiries and convert requirements into detailed quotations.
• Provide technical drawings in 3D using SketchUp to assist customers.
• Support sales, production planning and project budgeting.
• Maintain and improve product descriptions and data in ERP.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure quotations align with capacity.
• Take-offs and verify quantities from drawings.
