Job summary

Srsuk in Derbyshire seeks a Technical Design & Estimating Coordinator to convert complex customer enquiries into accurate quotations for masonry products. You will bridge the gap between customers, sales and production, ensuring technical requirements are understood and translated into viable manufacturing solutions.

The role covers technical support, commercial development and data management, with an emphasis on accurate take-offs, pricing, and collaborative planning with production teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction information.
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability.
• Experience preparing quotations and pricing calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, schedules, specifications, and project information.
• Interpret complex enquiries and convert requirements into detailed quotations.
• Calculate quantities, wastage allowances and material requirements when needed.
• Create and maintain product records, descriptions and pricing in ERP.
• Provide drawings in 3D packages to assist customers with bond patterns.
