Milton Keynes City Council is recruiting an experienced Social Worker (Level 3) to join the assessment service within our MASH in Milton Keynes. The role covers Single Assessments and safeguarding work, rotating across three pods with dedicated leadership and team support.

Site-based role, with some home-working possible; interviews scheduled for 16th November 2026. You will carry a complex caseload, work across thresholds, and contribute to better outcomes for children and families.

Formación

• Degree or professional qualification in social work.
• Current registration with Social Work England required.
• Experience with work with children and families and strong professional judgement.

Responsabilidades

• Complete clear and timely assessments by speaking with and observing children and young people and maintaining electronic records.
• Develop, implement and review care plans and interventions responsive to each child and family’s needs.
• Manage a complex caseload and safeguard children while supporting families or those in care settings.
• Collaborate with families, schools, health services, police and partners to coordinate support and outcomes.
• Participate in regular supervision and reflect on practice to drive development.
• Represent the local authority in court proceedings and prepare statements and care plans as required.
