Job summary

Cardiff Bay Police Station hosts a fast-paced MASH Social Worker role focused on the assessment and triage of safeguarding contacts and referrals. You will work office-based with partner agencies to identify risk and coordinate safeguarding actions in a non-case-holding capacity.

Ideal candidates have experience as a Children’s Social Worker in MASH/duty settings, with strong knowledge of child protection procedures and the ability to make timely professional decisions under pressure.

Qualifications

Location: Cardiff Bay Police Station
Working Environment: Office-based, co-located with partner agencies

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MASH Social Worker to join a fast-paced, multi-agency safeguarding team based at Cardiff Bay Police Station.

You will be responsible for the timely assessment of contacts and referrals, identifying children and families who may be at risk and ensuring appropriate safeguarding action is taken.
