Job summary

Oldham Council is seeking a coordinator to support the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Oldham. You will triage contacts to refer children and families to appropriate early help services, gathering information from families and professionals and analysing it to identify needs.

Based at the MASH Spindles office, the role requires working 36:40 hours per week with a commitment to safeguarding and partnership with multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a service delivering support to children, families or vulnerable adults.
• Experience of working in a team following SOPs to manage large volumes of activity under time pressure.
• Experience of collaborating with professionals from different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Triage contacts to enable referrals to appropriate early help services.
• Gather information from family members and professionals about the reason for contact and needs.
• Analyse information to assess and document support needs.
• Identify services delivering support and review prior history through relevant data systems.
