Job summary

Oldham Council in England is recruiting for a Permanent role within the MASH to support triaging contacts and directing children and families to appropriate early help services. You will gather information from families and professionals, assess needs, and coordinate with frontline services to ensure timely, suitable support.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, develop knowledge of local resources, and build strong professional relationships to improve safeguarding outcomes for

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a service delivering services or support to children, families or vulnerable adults.
• Experience of working in a team following standard operating procedures to manage large volumes of activity to quality standards under pressure of time.
• Experience of working effectively in partnership with professionals from different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Triaging contacts to the Children’s Services front door and directing to appropriate early help.
• Gather information from family members and professionals about the reason for the contact and support needs.
• Analyse information to assess their needs and identify services currently providing support.
• Research the previous support history of children and families through relevant databases.
