Job summary

Eastleigh Borough Council is seeking a Marketing, Sales & Programming Manager to lead marketing, ticket and event sales across The Point and The Berry Theatre. You will drive audience development and customer insight to grow income and engagement.

You will manage multi-channel campaigns, develop partnerships and use data to improve performance, ensuring a sustainable programme of events and hires that benefits the community.

Qualifications

Eastleigh Borough Council is looking for a creative, commercial and audience-focused Marketing, Sales & Programming Manager to help lead an ambitious new model for The Point and The Berry Theatre.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of two much-loved cultural venues.

The Point and The Berry Theatre play an important role in the Borough. They bring people together, support local talent and provide space for communities, artists, schools, hirers and audiences.

We are building a more focused and sustainable model that grows audiences, increases income, makes better use of our venues and keeps culture at the heart of community life.

About The Role

This is an exciting time to join Eastleigh Borough Council’s Arts and Culture Team.

We are looking for a Marketing, Sales & Programming Manager to help shape and deliver the next chapter for our venues.

You will lead marketing, ticket and event sales, audience development and customer insight across our theatres and events programme. You will create a joined-up approach to campaigns, sales, programming and income growth.

You will focus on growing audiences, making the best use of our venues and increasing commercial and community use. Using data, insight and creativity, you will help reach new audiences, improve performance and support a sustainable programme of events, hires and performances.

You will work closely with the Business Director, Head of Sales, Communications and Marketing, Commercial & Business Development Manager, venue teams, corporate communications colleagues and external partners.
