Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking a Marketing Program Manager for Sky Media on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will translate department commercial objectives into marketing plans and then deliver those plans using a capability layer of internal resources across content, digital and social, events and creative.

The role focuses on lead generation, collaboration with senior stakeholders, and managing marketing programmes within capacity constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a demand/lead generation plan end-to-end including planning, delivery and reporting.
• Demonstrable experience delivering through people who do not report to you.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior commercial audiences; ability to say no and protect relationships.
• Comfort with revenue targets, pipeline and how the department makes money.
• Excellent briefing and written communication.
• Ability to build plans that survive capacity constraints.

Responsibilities

• Act as the marketing lead for the aligned department(s) and be in the room when commercial priorities are set.
• Build a year-long marketing programme with a clear commercial purpose, calendar, budget and deliverables.
• Plan inside a capacity model and treat plans not capacity-checked as drafts.
• Sequence activities to avoid peak clashes and re-scope quarterly based on capacity and priorities.
• Write briefs that enable specialists to act with minimal further meetings.
• Work with Project Management to keep the programme's critical path visible and flag slippage.
