Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead AI and tool enablement - identify where AI-assisted workflows can remove friction in campaign build, QA, and reporting; run structured pilots with the CoE pillars; turn what works into playbooks and training adopted by brands.
  • Lead CX Integration, the campaign-driven landing-page, web-asset, and tracking/QA capability that bridges Marketing, UX, Product, and Tech; ensure build quality and deployment consistency across multiple tech stacks with local teams.
  • Support agile delivery sustaining the sprint-based delivery model, planning cadences, and operations governance, with day-to-day facilitation by the Agile Coordinator.
  • Drive tool and AI enablement to help teams adopt new tools, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working by surfacing best practices and supporting playbooks and training.
  • Lead and develop the pillar managers and specialists, balancing shared capacity and prioritisation against competing brand demands.
  • Own the operating model cross-function prioritisation, standards governance, and the interface into quarterly planning and wider CoE leadership.

Our Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE) is the group engine that scales what works across every brand - combining deep functional expertise, shared tooling, and agile ways of working to drive growth, speed, and quality at scale.

Role Overview

We're looking for an Marketing Operations Team Lead to lead MarTech, Regional Operations, and CX Integrations teams in the Marketing CoE. This is the key role that keeps the whole of marketing running: the technology, automation, tracking, and delivery infrastructure that every brand and every specialist depends on.

You'll lead a team of 10+ across Europe, driving MarTech and Marketing website capabilities across our multi-brand, multi-market estate, set the operational standards that make execution repeatable. It's a player-coach leadership role; you'll shape the operating model and the tooling strategy, while staying close enough to the work to unblock your team and raise the bar on delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead AI and tool enablement - identify where AI-assisted workflows can remove friction in campaign build, QA, and reporting; run structured pilots with the CoE pillars; and turn what works into playbooks and training that brands actually adopt. You're not chasing every new tool - you're the filter between hype and operational reality.

Lead CX Integration, the campaign-driven landing-page, web-asset, and tracking/QA capability that bridges Marketing, UX, Product, and Tech. Ensure build quality and deployment consistency across multiple tech stacks, working alongside (not displacing) local web and dev teams.

Support agile delivery sustain the sprint-based delivery model, planning cadences, and operations governance, with day-to-day facilitation run by the Agile Coordinator.

Drive to tool and AI enablement helping our teams adopt new tools, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working by surfacing operational best practice and supporting the playbooks and training behind them.

Lead and develop the pillar manage the CX Integration and MarTech/Automation managers and specialists, balancing shared capacity and prioritisation against competing brand demands.

Own the operating model cross-function prioritisation, standards governance, and the interface into quarterly planning and wider CoE leadership.

Primary KPIs

You’ll be measured on the operational health and scalability of marketing execution across the group, including:

Tool and process adoption - uptake of standardised tooling, automation, and ways of working across brands and markets

Speed-to-market - cycle time and throughput for campaign builds, landing pages, and operational requests

Build and data quality - tracking accuracy, integration health, and QA/deployment reliability across tech stacks

Operational consistency - reduction in duplication and variance through shared standards and playbooks

Team capability growth - development and competency progression across the pillar's specialists

Brand satisfaction - how effectively the pillar enables and unblocks brand and market teams

Requirements

10+ years of proven experience in marketing operations, MarTech, or RevOps. Multi-brand, multi-market, or otherwise complex environment is required

Strong hands-on command of the modern marketing stack including HubSpot (or comparable), GA4, Google Tag Manager, automation platforms, and adjacent CDP/BI tooling

Demonstrated ability to build scalable standards, processes, and documentation while operating pragmatically across non-uniform tech stacks

AI-assisted workflow adoption including increasing our proportion of campaign/build/reporting workflows using AI-assisted tooling, and measurable time-to-delivery improvement where adopted.

Fluency in agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint-based operating models

Systems thinking, with the ability to translate confidently between marketing, product, and engineering

3+ years of people leadership experience across distributed teams, including managing shared capacity and competing priorities

A practical enablement instinct; able to translate operational and AI-tooling best practice into real adoption across teams

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and professional working fluency in English

Experience in B2B for SMBs or D2C

Familiarity with landing-page builders, CMS platforms, and campaign QA at scale

Track record of evaluating and rolling out AI-assisted tooling within a marketing or ops function - not just using AI, but having driven adoption across a team or organisation and being able to speak to what worked, what didn't, and why.

Experience operating within a Centre of Excellence or shared-service model that enables rather than controls
