Job summary

Cummins is seeking a Marketing Operations student to join the Communications team within the Global Marketing Operations unit in Darlington, UK. This placement offers exposure to how a global organization operates and the chance to become an expert in the industry.

The role begins Summer 2027 and requires on-site presence three days a week; you should be able to travel or relocate to Darlington. You will support asset lifecycle processes and collaborate with teams across markets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Operations student to join our team specializing in Communications for our Global Marketing Operations business unit in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.

This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027

The requirements are to be onsite for 3 days per week so you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location on your own behalf.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support Cummins Marketing Operations by managing creative asset lifecycle processes using digital marketing technologies.
• Collaborate with the market segment communication teams and key suppliers to support the marketing collateral lifecycle process (setup, printing, fulfilment, translations, obsoletions, annual reviews) across all products and market segments
• Administer the digital asset management tool including asset uploads, user management and annual reviews to support asset management strategies
• Assist with digital marketing enablement projects and ad-hoc projects
