Marketing Officer
Salary: £30,824 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday. Some weekend work (approximately 1 in 4) as part of the Duty Management Rota

About The Role

This London attraction has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join their team. The role involves driving visitation, raising brand awareness, and increasing engagement across social media platforms.

The responsibilities include creating engaging content, delivering PR, and collaborating with internal teams to execute marketing and communications activities.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Working with the Senior Visitor Marketing Manager to create multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase visitation and awareness.
2. Managing PR activities, developing media contacts, creating engaging copy, and supervising media visits.
3. Managing social media channels, creating content to promote events, visitation, and the charity’s conservation work.

This full-time role involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work (about 1 in 4) as part of the Duty Management Rota.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic, digitally-focused Marketing Officer with:

• Excellent communication skills, experience in content creation for various audiences and platforms
• A creative mindset and awareness of current trends
• Strong planning skills with effective prioritization
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing, with demonstrable digital marketing, social media, and media relations experience.
