About the role

As the Value Marketing Manager, Strategy and Operations you will directly report to the Head of Value Marketing for the UK and Ireland. You will be working across various marketing teams to ensure alignment of the promotional calendar, and keeping up-to-date the information about campaign execution and results. As part of your role you will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to experiment with our promotions taking into account business priorities, past performance of promotions, and market trends.

You will work cross-functionally to define processes that improve customer experience through promotions, as well as identifying and executing opportunities that improve the way that promotions are executed at Deliveroo. The role requires strong analytical and organisational skills to deliver actionable recommendations across a number of projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Own the overview of the UKI Marketing Promotional Calendar, ensuring alignment between different central and local marketing teams
  • Keep-up to date campaign and experiment results, identifying improvement areas in our promotional investment and areas where we can continue to experiment
  • Propose Test and Learn agenda for promotions in the UK and Ireland
  • Take responsibility for competitor value tracking, staying abreast of market trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Define and implement best-in-class processes to improve execution, tracking, and measurement of promotional activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of promotions
  • Support in the execution of promotional campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and can manage multiple cross-departmental stakeholders; confident communicating at all levels
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You’re both analytical & commercial and you enjoy interpreting data to develop insight/consumer-led marketing strategy
  • You have a self-starter attitude and you’re able to deliver in a fast-paced matrixed organisation with constant change.
  • You have a proven track record in making things happen - delivering results quickly and efficiently.
