Job Overview:

As a Marketing Manager, you will contribute to the success of your product category by leading the strategy for UK & Ireland. You will adapt and apply international product strategy whilst motivating Product Managers in your team to meet and exceed objectives.

Key Responsibilities as a Marketing Manager at Groupe SEB:

  • Drive category and become the UK expert for existing and new product launches.
  • Own P&L and budget for all products within your category, monitoring and driving profitability against targets.
  • Planning, developing, implementing and controlling promotional activities in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Lead on brand strategies to ensure marketing activities are aligned.
  • Lead on category analysis, identifying potential and planning marketing investment and assortment for the category.
  • Develop constructive and collaborative relationships with Business Units in France to ensure UK consumer needs are identified and met.
  • Act as a lead within the broader marketing team to support Marketing Director in achieving effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills required as a Marketing Manager at Groupe SEB:

  • You must have a strong background in Product Management, including responsibility for setting RRPs, and managing retail invoice pricing and margin.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic experience in leading product categories, ideally in a related sector.
  • You will possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A CIM qualification is highly desirable.
  • You are analytical and able to draw conclusions from data to take corrective action.
  • Effective organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and make decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and possess a collaborative approach to challenges.
  • Ability to convince and influence through verbal and written communications.
  • You are results driven and motivated by your objectives.
  • You must be entrepreneurial and willing to think outside the box to try new approaches.
  • You must be highly IT literate and able to demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
  • You are a problem solver and have a “can do” attitude to problem-solving whilst working cross-functionally.

Overview on package – Marketing Manager – Groupe SEB:

  • Working Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Tuesday and Wednesday are our core days for cross-collaboration.
