About the Role

Are you a commercially minded marketing professional ready to make a real impact across a diverse portfolio of automotive brands?

William Morgan Group is looking for an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and activity across BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, Chery and INEOS Automotive.

Based at our Northampton office, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of multi-brand marketing campaigns, develop a talented marketing team and drive measurable results across vehicle sales, aftersales revenue and customer engagement.

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering integrated marketing strategies, building strong relationships with our manufacturer partners and identifying new opportunities to grow our brands. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you will use data, insight and creativity to maximise return on marketing investment and support the wider commercial objectives of the business.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the marketing strategy: Develop and deliver integrated marketing plans across all group franchises, aligned with commercial objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Plan and deliver campaigns: Manage quarterly marketing activity and execute multi-channel campaigns on time, within budget and in line with manufacturer requirements.
  • Drive digital performance: Identify opportunities across SEO, generative engine optimisation (GEO), paid media, websites, CRM, email marketing and social media.
  • Generate quality leads: Develop marketing initiatives that increase qualified sales enquiries, improve conversion rates and support vehicle sales and aftersales growth.
  • Analyse and optimise performance: Monitor campaign results, report on KPIs and use data-driven insights to improve ROI and reduce customer acquisition costs.
  • Manage marketing budgets: Oversee budget planning, forecasting and expenditure to ensure marketing investment delivers measurable value.
  • Lead and develop the team: Provide direction, support and development to the marketing team, building a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Build manufacturer relationships: Work closely with manufacturer partners to maximise marketing opportunities and ensure campaigns meet brand and programme requirements.
  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with sales, aftersales and other key stakeholders to ensure marketing activity supports wider business priorities.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness: Review and enhance processes, tools and automation to improve efficiency, reporting and campaign delivery.
  • Manage agencies and suppliers: Build effective working relationships with external partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective marketing activity.
  • Support customer engagement: Deliver effective events, retention initiatives and local marketing activity that strengthen customer relationships and brand loyalty.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a confident marketing leader who combines strategic vision with strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering measurable results.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership or management role, preferably within a multi-brand environment.
  • A strong understanding of automotive retail, dealership marketing and lead generation.
  • Experience managing manufacturer marketing programmes and working within brand guidelines.
  • A good understanding of SEO and generative engine optimisation (GEO), including emerging AI-driven search strategies.
  • Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, CRM, email, social media, paid media, websites and events.
  • A data-led approach to campaign analysis, performance reporting and return on investment.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting expenditure and improving campaign efficiency.
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience managing external agencies, suppliers and marketing partners.
  • Familiarity with analytics, CRM and marketing reporting tools.
  • An understanding of marketing compliance, including GDPR and FCA financial promotions requirements.

B2B marketing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, your success will be measured by the impact your marketing activity has on the wider business. This includes:

  • Increasing the volume and quality of marketing-generated sales enquiries.
  • Improving lead-to-sale conversion rates across our franchises.
  • Delivering measurable returns on marketing investment.
