SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and delivering marketing activities for the global business. You will implement the Craster marketing plan, manage the brand, and develop lead generation strategies across multiple channels.

Working closely with Product and Sales teams, under the guidance of the Interim Head of Marketing, you will execute campaigns through digital marketing, trade shows, PR, and bespoke activities with trade and distributor partners.

With curiosity, a proactive attitude, strong copywriting skills, and broad marketing expertise, you will drive high-quality leads to the sales team from marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Analyze marketing and customer data to inform strategic marketing planning supporting overall commercial objectives.
  2. Plan and execute campaigns for new product launches, ensuring teams have necessary assets to generate inbound leads.
  3. Maintain tools that promote brand saliency and appeal.
  4. Collaborate with product, merchandising, operations, and sales teams to understand departmental needs and deliver global and local marketing tools.
  5. Manage all brand touchpoints with customers and distributors.
  6. Assist in implementing marketing tech integrations for comprehensive lead funnel reporting.
  7. Oversee daily management of the marketing team, providing guidance and support to two direct reports.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & FUNCTIONS

  1. Support the Head of Marketing in delivering the annual strategic marketing plan.
  2. Work with the product team on exciting campaigns and seasonal launches across regions.
  3. Manage global trade shows, PR, and bespoke trade activities with customers and distributors.
  4. Build and promote a sustainable brand culture.
  5. Drive brand awareness and lead generation through integrated campaigns.
  6. Manage Craster.com and marketing campaign tracking systems.
  7. Own the marketing events calendar and budget, delivering events and trade shows, tracking ROI.
  8. Manage external agency and supplier relationships.
  9. Oversee the marketing budget.
  10. Ensure direct reports contribute effectively, providing training and coaching.

PERSON SPECIFICATION (ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS)

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven success in executing campaigns and organizing trade show stands.
  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, flexible in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Hootsuite; experience with Hubspot and basic HTML is a plus.
  • Experience managing photography and video shoots.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent copywriting ability.
  • Experience managing teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 4 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced SME or agency.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • Knowledge of European languages is advantageous.
