Job summary

BTG Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager in Leicester to lead a small marketing and design team, acting as the main contact for partner brands and coordinating campaigns.

You will gather product information, oversee marketing activities, mentor staff, and work closely with designers on mailshots, social media and content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and brand consistency in a fast-paced product-led environment.

Marketing Manager Leicester £32,000 – £35,000 Office-based | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Are you a hands-on Marketing Manager who enjoys working with brands, products and creative teams?

BTG Recruitment are working with a growing Leicester-based distribution business that is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to lead a small marketing and design team.

This is a varied role where you will act as the key point of contact for partner brands, gather product information, oversee marketing campaigns and ensure all outgoing content is accurate, professional and delivered on time.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the main contact for partner brands.
• Building and maintaining strong brand relationships.
• Managing brand queries, expectations and updates.
• Leading and mentoring a small team, including marketing and design colleagues.
• Working with graphic designers on mailshots, campaigns and marketing materials.
• Reviewing outgoing content for accuracy, errors, typos and brand consistency.
• Supporting social media content and wider marketing activity.
• Coordinating marketing projects and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in a Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or Senior Marketing Executive role.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
• Strong brand, supplier or partner relationship experience.
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with product-led marketing campaigns.
• Confidence working with designers, social media and content teams.
• A hands-on, organised and proactive approach.

This role would suit someone from a background in FMCG, consumer goods, wholesale, distribution, retail head office, e-commerce, health and beauty, lifestyle products or another fast-paced product-led business.

Package

• Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
• Full-time, permanent role.
• Office-based.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm.
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
• Private GP access.
