Abingdon School is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee day-to-day marketing operations across the Senior and Prep schools. You will drive campaigns, manage website content, and uphold brand consistency while coordinating with the Director of Marketing and Communications and a Digital Content Creator.
You will balance campaign planning with digital content oversight and performance analysis, providing occasional out-of-hours support for emergencies.

Salary: £30,950 to £37,259 per annum
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (one year, covering maternity leave from November 2026)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00)

The Foundation comprises two schools: Abingdon School and Abingdon Prep School, as well as Abingdon School Enterprises. Abingdon School is a leading independent day and boarding school with more than 1,000 pupils aged 11-18. Currently a boys’ school, it will become co-educational from September 2026.
Abingdon Prep School is a vibrant and warm day preparatory school with around 200 pupils aged 4-13 which has been co-educational since last year. Both Schools are situated in beautiful and extensive grounds, with the senior school in the heart of Abingdon on Thames, just south of Oxford, and the Prep School located a few miles away in nearby Frilford.
As Marketing Manager, you will be the day-to-day contact for marketing operations across our Senior and Prep schools. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and a Digital Content Creator, you will drive strategic marketing campaigns, maintain website channels, ensure brand consistency, and manage stakeholder communications. You will balance campaign planning with website management, digital content oversight and performance analysis, while providing occasional out-of-hours support for critical emergencies.
