Trinity Hospice & Brian House Children’s Hospice in Blackpool is seeking a Marketing Lead on a 3-4 month fixed term contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 at home, offering £31,000 FTE for full-time hours and interviews/start asap.
The role requires a senior marketing professional capable of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, reviewing current activity, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving plans into action across fundraising, retail, events, and campaigns.
Are you an experienced charity marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery?
Charity People are looking for an experienced marketing professional who can quickly get to grips with a complex and varied organisation, review existing activity, identify opportunities for improvement and work alongside colleagues to put plans into action.
This is a unique opportunity to join Trinity Hospice & Brian House at a time of huge growth and development, to help shape the future of marketing and communications function for a much‑loved hospice charity that provides vital care and support to adults, children and families across Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre.
Trinity Hospice & Brian House are a vibrant hospice charity providing compassionate care and support to people living with life‑limiting illnesses, both in the hospice and in their own homes. Committed to reaching everyone who needs them, they work to ensure high‑quality palliative care is accessible to all, while relying on the generosity of supporters and fundraising to deliver our vital services. They believe in helping people live well and encouraging open, compassionate conversations about death, dying and bereavement.
Marketing and communications sit at the heart of the organisation, supporting fundraising, retail, events, patient services, staff communications, digital content, and organisational campaigns. As the charity reviews its future communications structure, this interim role will play a key part in strengthening activity, supporting colleagues, and helping shape future priorities and direction for the marketing and communications function.
This role requires a senior marketing professional with strong campaign planning and delivery experience. You will bring the confidence and experience needed to review existing activity, challenge constructively, and introduce fresh ideas, while remaining pragmatic and delivery focused.
This role would suit someone who is comfortable developing strategy, creating campaigns, and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
