Job description

Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties are proud to be representing a growing and purpose-driven business within Northamptonshire to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their expanding Sales & Marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and creative marketing professional who enjoys turning ideas into action. Working closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will play a key role in delivering campaigns, managing digital activity, creating engaging content and supporting lead generation across the business.

This is not a Marketing Manager role. We are looking for a strong, proactive "doer" who is confident taking a vision or brief and bringing it to life through high-quality marketing activity across digital, social, web, email and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns across digital, social, email and offline channels
  • Create engaging marketing content, including copy, imagery, video and promotional materials
  • Manage and update website content, landing pages and digital campaigns
  • Create and maintain marketing artwork and collateral for both digital and print
  • Manage and support the company's social media activity
  • Create and schedule email campaigns and marketing communications
  • Support lead generation activity and monitor inbound leads
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure marketing-generated leads are followed up and progressed
  • Track campaign performance, lead sources and marketing effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate marketing and lead data within CRM systems
  • Attend exhibitions, events and demonstrations to support marketing and lead generation activity
  • Conduct competitor and market research to support campaign development
  • Provide ideas and recommendations to improve marketing performance and lead quality
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure marketing activity supports wider business objectives
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience within a Marketing Executive or similar hands-on marketing role
  • Experience delivering campaigns across digital, email, social and offline channels
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills
  • Experience managing and updating websites and digital content
  • Ability to create marketing artwork and promotional materials
  • Experience with social media management and campaign delivery
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of lead generation and marketing performance
  • Confident using CRM systems and marketing tools
  • Creative, proactive and comfortable working independently
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A relevant marketing qualification or degree would be advantageous, although practical experience will be equally valued
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial due to occasional events and travel requirements
What's on Offer:
  • Salary between £35,000-£40,000, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working following successful completion of probation and training
  • Full office-based onboarding and training during the initial probation period
  • Opportunity to take ownership of a varied and hands-on marketing role
  • Career development and progression opportunities, including the potential to develop into a Senior Marketing Executive role
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment
  • Opportunity to work within a growing and purpose-driven business
  • Additional employee benefits package
