Marketing Director

The client, a global leader in hospitality and real estate backed by Private Equity, is seeking an exceptional Marketing Director to join their leadership team during an exciting period of expansion.
The Marketing Director will be responsible for driving business growth through brand awareness, consideration, lead generation, and client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Evolution:
- Develop strategies with the Commercial Director & channel leads to meet commercial objectives and evolve the brand.
- Lead brand awareness initiatives, including sponsorships, partnerships, and ATL campaigns.
- Enhance market positioning and awareness across channels.
- Set team objectives aligned with key commercial dates and campaigns.
- Manage marketing budgets and performance against targets.
Performance Marketing:- Oversee media planning to maximize direct leads and work with sales to optimize conversion.
- Create targeted campaigns for specific needs and new launches.
- Monitor ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Lead SEO efforts and collaborate on content strategies.
Customer Insights & Competitor Analysis:- Serve as the customer advocate within the business.
- Gather market and competitor insights to inform product development and campaigns.
- Collaborate with data & insights teams to leverage customer data effectively.
Customer Retention & Loyalty:- Enhance retention through strategic communication and campaigns.
- Develop loyalty schemes to reward long-term customers and decision-makers.
- Innovate the brand proposition and introduce new revenue-generating products.
- Implement referral schemes to boost engagement.
Creative Studio & Events:- Prioritize support across marketing channels and ensure effective delivery.
- Develop and evolve brand messaging and creative content.
- Create a comprehensive events strategy to support growth and retention.
- Engage potential customers and support partner channels.
- Identify revenue opportunities through product and event innovation.
The Person
- Extensive marketing and digital experience, with leadership at a Director level.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Strong technical understanding of websites and digital products.
- Experience with customer data, engagement, and campaign management.
- Expertise in lead generation, media, marketing effectiveness, and SEO.
- Experience managing creative functions, either in-house or via agencies.
- Deep understanding of branding principles.
