Job summary

Confidential in Leeds is seeking a Marketing & Design Assistant to support a fast-paced marketing team. The role covers social media, email campaigns, graphics, and website updates, with hybrid working options.

You will collaborate with a close-knit team and develop skills in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and WordPress while conducting market research and reporting on engagement. A minimum of two years in marketing/design is required, with strong written communication and attention to detail;

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of Marketing & Design experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A working knowledge of social media platforms.
• Experience using Canva and AI design tools would be beneficial.
• Some practical experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• An understanding of digital marketing, email campaigns, and website content.
• Experience using WordPress or similar CMS, including making basic website updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage and use AI design software to create a range of marketing materials.
• Support the creation of graphics, recruitment materials.
• Take ownership of social media planning and scheduling.
• Create engaging social media content to support campaigns.
• Monitor social media performance, producing regular reports and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
• Support website updates.
• Support the planning, creation, and delivery of email marketing campaigns.
• Build and manage email campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse results.
• Support the delivery of lead generation campaigns and customer communications.
• Conduct regular market and competitor research.
• Support the team with copywriting, proofreading, and editing marketing collateral.
