The successful candidate will take a lead role in shaping brand experience, delivering clear and consistent messaging, and executing integrated marketing communications that support commercial objectives and long-term growth.

The Role

Reporting into senior marketing leadership, the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering integrated communications across brand, PR, content, social, events and internal channels. Working closely with the wider marketing team, business stakeholders and external partners, the role will bring strategic thinking and creative execution together within a newly evolving marketing structure.

This is a highly collaborative position, requiring strong relationship-building skills and the ability to translate business priorities into audience-focused, high-impact communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing communications strategies aligned with business and growth objectives
  • Lead PR, sponsorship and events activity to raise profile and reputation in priority markets
  • Design and deliver content-led engagement programmes to strengthen client relationships and advocacy
  • Develop internal communications channels and content to support employee engagement and alignment
  • Oversee social media strategy and delivery in partnership with digital and paid media teams
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity across all channels
  • Plan, write, edit and manage content across digital, print, PR, social, email and sales collateral
  • Own content planning, calendars, workflows and approval processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across the business
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers and specialist suppliers
  • Measure performance, report on effectiveness and optimise communications based on insight
  • Ensure all activity aligns with brand guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a marketing communications, brand or content-focused role, ideally within a professional or regulated environment. They will bring strong expertise across PR, events, sponsorship, social media and content marketing, alongside experience developing internal communications and engagement initiatives.

Excellent writing and editing skills are essential, with a strong grasp of tone, messaging and brand consistency. The role requires someone confident managing agencies and external partners, able to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels and influence effectively.
