Job summary

Craven College is seeking a committed Marketing Officer to develop and deliver targeted campaigns that increase participation in adult skills programmes, apprenticeships and commercial training across its campuses in Skipton and the surrounding area.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or be working towards one, with experience in business development, sales or employer engagement, and will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
• Experience in business development, sales, account management, or employer engagement.
• Strong understanding of employer needs and customer-focused service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel and attend events outside normal working hours where required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to increase participation in adult skills programmes, apprenticeships, commercial training provision and employer engagement activities across Craven College.
• Build and manage relationships with employers and stakeholders to support recruitment and programme uptake.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies to maximise engagement and revenue growth.
