Job summary

Lucy Walker Recruitment’s client, an investment company with offices in Leeds, is seeking a Marketing Assistant. The role is hybrid, Tue–Thu in the office, ideal for a marketing graduate with placement experience or 12 months in the field.

You will work with the Head of Communications & Marketing on diverse tasks, mentored by an excellent leader, contributing to content, press releases, and event support. You will update materials, assist with filming logistics, and manage stakeholder

Qualifications

• Marketing degree in hand or completed placement; minimum 12 months work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with Mailchimp and Canva.
• Working knowledge of AI, ideally Claude.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple marketing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create content and design infographics for marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to press releases and case studies.
• Support stakeholder communications.
• Update the company website and marketing materials.
• Coordinate logistics for marketing filming projects.
• Provide event support including venue sourcing and supplier liaison.

Job description

We are working with an exciting investment company with offices in Leeds who are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their expanding team. This hybrid role would be ideal for a Marketing graduate who has successfully completed a work placement or perhaps has a minimum of 12 months work experience. Working closely with the Head of Communications & Marketing, the successful candidate will be exposed to a variety of marketing tasks and will be mentored by a fantastic leader. Key duties will include;

• Content creation
• Designing of infographics
• Contributing to press releases
• Write & contribute to case studies
• Stakeholder communications
• Update the company website
• Updating marketing materials
• Manage the logistics for marketing filming projects
• Event support includes, but is not exclusive to, venue sourcing and booking, supplier research and liaison, delegate information management

The Marketing Assistant role is a hybrid role, working Tuesday- Thursday in the office, the successful candidate will have;

• Minimum of 12 months' work experience
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience of Mailchimp & Canva
• Working knowledge of AI, ideally Claude
• Able to multitask
