Qualifications

• A marketing degree, qualification or recognized marketing training.
• Some practical marketing experience gained through placement, work experience, internship or similar.
• Understanding of marketing principles and keen to develop a career in marketing.
• Knowledge of website management, SEO, social media and email marketing.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day marketing activities across digital and print channels.
• Create, edit and upload website content and keep information up to date.
• Assist with SEO and improve website performance and visibility.
• Produce and update marketing materials including brochures, presentations, leaflets and promos.
• Support content creation for social media, email campaigns and other digital channels.
• Assist with email campaigns and wider business communications.
• Maintain marketing assets and brand materials.
• Support planning and delivery of marketing projects, campaigns and events.
• Monitor and report on marketing activity and campaign performance.

Location: Near Bewdley

Salary: £26,500 - £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

The Role

As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the delivery of a wide range of marketing activities across both digital and print channels. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help create engaging content, maintain marketing materials and contribute ideas to support ongoing marketing activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day delivery of marketing activities across digital and print channels
• Create, edit and upload website content to ensure information remains accurate, engaging and up to date
• Assist with SEO activity and contribute to improving website performance and visibility
• Produce and update marketing materials including brochures, presentations, leaflets and promotional content
• Support the creation of content for social media, email marketing and other digital channels
• Assist with email campaigns and wider business communications
• Maintain marketing assets, content libraries and brand materials
• Support the planning and delivery of marketing projects, campaigns and events
• Monitor and report on marketing activity and campaign performance
• Research and contribute creative ideas for future campaigns and content
• Liaise with colleagues across different departments to gather information and support marketing requirements
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team

Requirements

• A marketing degree, qualification or relevant marketing training
• Some practical marketing experience gained through employment, internships, placements, work experience or similar
• An understanding of key marketing principles and a genuine interest in developing a career in marketing
• Some knowledge of website management, SEO, social media and email marketing
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency and branding
• Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems and software
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• A proactive and positive approach to work
• Creativity, enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute new ideas
