Lambourne End Centre is looking to recruit a Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career in charity fundraising.
Lambourne End Centre is a 54-acre site in southwest Essex, offering residential accommodation, training facilities, adventure activities, a working farm, gardens, and environmental areas. These are used to develop programmes that improve health, wellbeing, and personal development, especially for those who struggle in mainstream environments.
The position is based on a 35-hour week, with flexible working including occasional evenings and weekends.
The role requires an enhanced DBS check due to the nature of the work.
The post holder will be responsible for raising revenue and capital funds primarily from trusts, companies, and through organising fundraising events. They will also promote the Centre to potential funders, user groups, and the public via the website and social media channels.
Candidates should demonstrate creativity, initiative, and the ability to work productively with colleagues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to enthuse others are essential.
The closing date for applications is Monday, 22nd July 2024 at 9 am. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on Wednesday, 31st July 2024. CVs will not be accepted; all candidates must complete an application form.
